Park Wood Spa
Owned by a family, and in operation for more than 17 years, Parkwood Auto Spa has been a car Wash entity for a long time now. Dave Nufer has been at the helm of the business from the very beginning, and has established it from a nascent stage. The history of the family with this business goes back to 1961 when Dave’s Family was involved in buying and developing Laundromats. Dave himself has been in this business since 1982 – looking for and developing Laundromats. Two of his Laundromats offer several features like self-serve car wash bays and automatic car wash tunnels. Both sites received an overhaul from updated wiring to tire-shine facility and offer features such as Vacuum and shampoo cubicle for customers. .
The Challenge
The task was to create a site which was informative and engaging. A site which listed all the customer services at offer in an attractive and appealing manner. The job was to blend visual appeal with sound design to best bring the salient features of the company to bear.
The Result
Built on an open source, Drupal based platform, the site brings all elements together to offer a customer a composite experience. From the services offered, to coupons and locations, it brings all features into play in an easy to use navigational manner. It is designed to pique the interest of a viewer and engage the attention of a customer. It blends the warmth of a family owned business with the professionalisms of a corporate set-up.
